Awakening the Conscious Man Intensive

The Awakening the Conscious Man (ACM) intensive opens a doorway to an extraordinary journey – navigating through your often unfamiliar internal world, we explore contemporary masculinity, encountering hidden dimensions of your ‘self’, and casting light onto your shadow. The workshop nurtures a more balanced, fully human masculinity, celebrates your unique qualities and delivers practical, implementable strategies for living in a more authentic, heartfelt and joyful way. It is is facilitated by David Mallard President of Melbourne Men’s Group Inc. with the amazing and deeply experienced MMG team, supported by depth psychologist Chris Caldwell.

♦ This is a two day non-residential intensive in Melbourne in the conference room of Currawong Bush Park in Doncaster East.

Date: Saturday and Sunday March 16 – 17, 2024 9AM – 6PM.

Venue: Currawong Bush Park Conference Room – 277 Reynolds Road, Doncaster East (near the start of Springvale Road). Currawong has approximately 55 acres of bushland you can wander.

Investment: your time and $595. A deposit of $295 will hold your place.

Your Facilitators

David Mallard is an extensively experienced trainer, coach, mentor, guide, adviser and consultant. He has been deeply involved in men’s development work for over 25 years and co-founded Melbourne Men’s Group Inc. in 1998 with Dr. Roger Hilton. David is trained in Breathwork, accredited in the DiSC personality profile, holds a Cert. IV in Training & Assessment and has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.  He is currently a student in the professional ‘Wild Mind Training Program‘ with the Animas Valley Institute of Colorado. David has significant senior executive leadership experience in large, medium and small organisations working closely with CEO’s and Boards. In parallel he has facilitated hundreds of men’s group meetings, personal growth workshops and seminars. David is also a council member of Soulcraft ANZ Inc.

Chris Caldwell is a counselling psychologist, supervisor, teacher and group facilitator with over forty years’ experience in the field of healing and personal development.  Chris has explored and trained in diverse fields during his practitioner career including the body mind model of Wilhelm Reich, formal meditation and yoga trainings in Australia and India, extensive practice in dreamwork and depth psychology as initiated by Carl Jung and extended into the transpersonal work of Stanislav Grof. Amongst other things, Chris currently teaches transpersonal counselling at the IKON Institute of Australia.
